TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
These Terms & Conditions apply to diagnostic services, repairs, installations, maintenance, cleaning services, parts, and other services provided by 605 Appliance Pros. By authorizing service, approving an estimate, making payment, or electronically accepting these terms, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following terms.
1. DIAGNOSTIC SERVICE
The diagnostic/service-call fee covers travel to the service location, inspection, testing, and diagnosis of the reported appliance issue.
The diagnostic fee is due upon completion of the diagnostic service unless a repair is authorized and paid for during the same service visit.
If the customer does not proceed with the recommended repair, the diagnostic fee remains due in full.
Diagnostic fees compensate 605 Appliance Pros for services already performed and are generally non-refundable.
2. DIAGNOSTIC CREDIT TOWARD REPAIR
If the customer pays the diagnostic fee and later chooses to proceed with the repair recommended as a result of that diagnostic, the diagnostic fee previously paid will be credited toward the approved repair total, provided the repair is authorized within 30 calendar days of the original diagnostic service date.
The diagnostic credit applies only to the same appliance, diagnosed condition, customer, and service location. The credit is not transferable.
After 30 calendar days, the diagnostic credit expires. A new diagnostic may be required because the condition of the appliance may have changed.
The diagnostic credit does not guarantee the original repair price, parts price, or parts availability. Estimates may be updated if parts costs, availability, or repair requirements change before authorization.
3. REPAIRS COMPLETED DURING DIAGNOSIS
When a repair, adjustment, correction, cleaning, or other billable service can be completed during the diagnostic visit, the service may be classified as a Minor Repair, Standard Repair, or other applicable repair/service category based on the work performed.
The diagnostic fee is included within the applicable repair labor charge and is not added as a separate additional labor charge.
Payment for the completed repair is due in full at the time of service.
4. REPAIR AUTHORIZATION & FULL PREPAYMENT
All repairs must be paid in full before the repair is performed.
When an approved repair requires parts to be ordered and/or a return service visit, the full approved repair amount, including applicable parts and labor, must be paid before parts are ordered.
If an eligible diagnostic fee was previously paid, that credit will be applied and the remaining repair balance must be paid in full before parts are ordered.
Customer approval and payment authorize 605 Appliance Pros to order the required parts and perform the work described in the approved estimate.
The approved repair price applies only to the specific parts and services identified in the estimate.
5. ESTIMATES
Estimates are based on diagnostic findings, appliance condition, parts pricing, and parts availability at the time the estimate is prepared.
Parts prices and availability may change before authorization.
Unless otherwise stated, an estimate does not guarantee that additional unrelated or concealed failures will not be discovered during repair.
Any additional billable work outside the approved estimate requires customer authorization before being performed.
6. ADDITIONAL OR CONCEALED FAILURES
Appliance diagnosis is based on conditions and symptoms that can reasonably be identified at the time of service.
One failed component may prevent complete testing of another component or system. As a result, additional failures may become apparent only after the originally diagnosed failure has been corrected.
The discovery of an additional failure does not necessarily mean the original diagnosis was incorrect.
If additional parts or labor are required, the customer will be informed and provided with the applicable additional charges before additional billable work is performed.
7. PARTS ORDERS
Parts will be ordered after the repair has been approved and required payment has been received.
Parts availability and estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed.
Manufacturer or distributor backorders, discontinued parts, shipping delays, substitutions, weather, supply-chain interruptions, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of 605 Appliance Pros may delay completion.
8. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & CREDITS
Diagnostic charges and charges for services already performed are generally non-refundable.
Once a repair has been authorized and parts have been ordered, requests for cancellation, refund, credit, discount, or billing adjustment will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis based on the individual circumstances and are subject to approval by 605 Appliance Pros, except where otherwise required by law.
Factors considered may include:
• Diagnostic services already performed
• Labor already performed
• Parts ordered or received
• Supplier return eligibility
• Special-order or non-returnable parts
• Shipping charges
• Restocking charges
• Scheduling commitments
• Administrative or other costs already incurred
Special-order, non-returnable, installed, used, programmed, opened, or electrical/electronic parts may not qualify for a refund or credit depending on supplier restrictions and applicable law.
If 605 Appliance Pros is unable to complete an authorized repair because a required part becomes discontinued, unavailable, or otherwise unobtainable, the transaction will be reviewed and an appropriate refund or credit will be determined after accounting for services already performed and legitimate non-refundable costs incurred, subject to applicable law.
Providing a refund, credit, discount, or accommodation in one situation does not create an obligation to provide the same accommodation in another situation.
Nothing in this section eliminates any customer right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.
9. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PARTS
605 Appliance Pros may, at its discretion, agree to install customer-supplied parts.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that any customer-supplied part is correct, compatible, complete, undamaged, and suitable for the appliance.
Customer-supplied parts are not covered under the 605 Appliance Pros parts warranty.
Additional diagnostic or labor charges may apply if a customer-supplied part is incorrect, defective, damaged, incomplete, or incompatible.
Any workmanship warranty applicable to installation of a customer-supplied part will be stated on the applicable invoice.
10. APPLIANCE ACCESS
The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the appliance.
Additional labor charges may apply when extraordinary work is required to access the appliance, including removal from cabinetry, counters, closets, platforms, pedestals, stacked configurations, or other restricted installations when such work was not included in the original estimate.
605 Appliance Pros may decline to move or access an appliance when doing so could reasonably result in injury or property damage.
11. MOVING APPLIANCES & PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS
Reasonable care will be taken when appliances must be moved for service.
Customers are responsible for informing 605 Appliance Pros of known problems involving flooring, cabinetry, countertops, plumbing, electrical connections, gas connections, appliance installation, or surrounding property.
To the extent permitted by law, 605 Appliance Pros is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing deterioration, weakened or damaged flooring, improper appliance installation, deteriorated cabinetry, corroded connections, defective plumbing, or other pre-existing conditions not caused by 605 Appliance Pros.
12. WATER, GAS, DRAIN & ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Service may require disconnecting and reconnecting accessible appliance water, gas, drain, or electrical connections.
Damaged, leaking, corroded, unsafe, inaccessible, improperly installed, or non-compliant connections may require correction before service can continue.
605 Appliance Pros may require a qualified plumber, electrician, HVAC professional, or other appropriate contractor to correct conditions outside the appliance before appliance service is performed or completed.
13. UNSAFE OR UNSANITARY CONDITIONS
605 Appliance Pros reserves the right to decline, discontinue, or postpone service when conditions present a reasonable safety, sanitation, or property-damage concern.
Examples include active gas leaks, significant water leaks, electrical hazards, pest infestation, biological hazards, excessive contamination, structural concerns, aggressive animals, unsafe appliance installations, or unsafe working conditions.
Applicable diagnostic or service charges for work already performed remain due.
14. RETURN SERVICE APPOINTMENTS
When a repair requires a return visit, 605 Appliance Pros will contact the customer to schedule service after the required parts are available.
The customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to the appliance at the scheduled appointment.
Additional trip or service charges may apply when a technician is unable to complete scheduled work because the customer fails to provide access, required utilities are unavailable, the appliance has been removed or relocated, or conditions at the property prevent completion of the authorized repair.
15. TESTING & COMPLETION
When reasonably possible, appliances will be operationally tested following repair.
Certain functions cannot always be fully confirmed during the technician’s visit. Refrigeration temperatures, automatic ice production, intermittent conditions, extended wash/dry cycles, defrost systems, and similar operations may require additional operating time after service.
Completion of testing does not guarantee against future unrelated component failure.
16. LIMITED WARRANTY
605 Appliance Pros provides the following limited warranty on qualifying repairs:
Residential Repairs — 1 Year
Commercial Repairs — 6 Months
Airbnb, Short-Term Rental & Rental Properties — 90 Days
The applicable warranty period begins on the date the repair is completed.
The warranty applies only to the specific workmanship performed and qualifying parts supplied and installed by 605 Appliance Pros as part of the original repair.
Warranty coverage does not extend to unrelated components or failures occurring elsewhere in the appliance.
17. WARRANTY CLAIMS
All warranty claims are subject to inspection, diagnosis, and verification by 605 Appliance Pros.
The appliance must remain at the original service location unless otherwise approved by 605 Appliance Pros.
If inspection determines that the reported problem is unrelated to the original covered repair, the service will be treated as a new diagnostic/service call and applicable charges will apply.
Warranty service applies only when the original repair invoice has been paid in full.
18. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
Warranty coverage does not apply to failures or damage caused by:
• Foreign objects or debris
• Misuse, abuse, or neglect
• Lack of routine cleaning or maintenance
• Improper installation or operation
• Clogged or restricted vents, drains, filters, or ductwork
• Power surges, improper voltage, or external electrical conditions
• External plumbing, water-supply, drain, or gas problems
• Rodent, insect, pest, or environmental damage
• Freezing, flooding, fire, or other external conditions
• Unauthorized modification or repair
• Movement or relocation of the appliance following repair
• Customer-supplied parts
• Failure of a component unrelated to the original repair
Unless specifically included in the repair, warranty coverage does not apply to cosmetic or non-functional components such as trim, glass, knobs, panels, racks, shelves, baskets, doors, door liners, or similar components.
19. THIRD-PARTY REPAIRS & TAMPERING
Warranty coverage for the affected repair may be void if the appliance or repaired component is subsequently altered, disassembled, modified, or repaired by another company or individual without authorization from 605 Appliance Pros.
20. MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES & RECALLS
Manufacturer warranties, recalls, extended warranties, home warranties, and third-party service contracts are separate from the warranty provided by 605 Appliance Pros.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for determining whether manufacturer or third-party coverage applies.
21. LIMITATION OF WARRANTY LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the obligation of 605 Appliance Pros under its limited warranty is limited to correcting covered workmanship or repairing or replacing a qualifying covered part originally supplied and installed by 605 Appliance Pros.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, 605 Appliance Pros is not responsible for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential losses resulting from an appliance failure, including food loss, loss of use, lost income, business interruption, or similar economic losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
22. PAYMENT METHODS
Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, and major credit/debit cards.
Payment is due according to the terms stated above and on the applicable estimate or invoice.
Returned or dishonored checks or bank drafts are subject to a $25 processing fee, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
23. PAST-DUE BALANCES & COLLECTION
Any balance that becomes past due remains the customer’s responsibility.
To the extent permitted by applicable law and the parties’ agreement, the customer may be responsible for reasonable costs incurred in collecting an unpaid balance, including collection expenses, court costs, filing fees, and attorney fees when legally recoverable.
Any applicable late charge or finance charge will be separately disclosed and assessed only as permitted by applicable law.
24. AUTHORITY TO AUTHORIZE SERVICE
The individual authorizing service represents that they are the appliance owner, property owner, tenant with appropriate authority, property manager, or another person authorized to approve service and incur charges associated with the service.
25. NON-TRANSFERABILITY
Unless otherwise stated in writing, diagnostic credits, repair warranties, service credits, and other benefits provided by 605 Appliance Pros are non-transferable and apply only to the original customer, appliance, and service location.
26. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION & AUTHORIZATION
The customer may receive estimates, invoices, approvals, service records, signatures, and other communications electronically.
Electronic approval, acceptance, or signature may be used to document customer authorization.
27. ENTIRE SERVICE AGREEMENT
The approved estimate, applicable invoice, service notes, and these Terms & Conditions collectively describe the authorized service.
If additional work is requested or required beyond the original authorization, additional customer authorization may be required.
CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT & AUTHORIZATION
